Commercials

 

Commercials allow businesses a streamlined way to manage every aspect of their supply chain. From inventory management, to purchase order processing and stock order processing, stock movement through the business, from goods in to goods out can be controlled efficiently.

All of the above is included in Sage 200 Standard, but for businesses with more complex stock management requirements, Sage 200 Professional offers additional modules that can deal with things like serial and batch number traceability.

 

Bill of Materials (BOM)

 

BOM allows manufacturers a way of gaining better control over their manufacturing processes, stock management and costs. Say goodbye to the headache of processing customer payments with payment integration. Pay now buttons can be added to sales invoices, allowing customers to pay their outstanding balance with one click!

Invoices are automatically reconciled with sales orders, drastically reducing the amount of time spent on manual reconciliation processes, freeing up resources in the business.

 

GoCardless

 

Sage have teamed up with GoCardless, one of the UKs leading direct debit providers to offer Sage 200 customers an easier way for their own customers to set up and authorise direct debit payments.

Whether set up on a schedule or on an ad-hoc basis, it’s particularly useful for businesses who receive payments for a subscription or recurring invoice. This ensures businesses receive customer payments on time every time, improving customer relationships and improving cashflow.

 

Supplier Payments

Microsoft Office 365

Sage 200 also integrates with Microsoft Flow, an intuitive piece of software which speeds up the purchase requisition process by providing real-time notifications to requesters and approvers. Microsoft Power BI also integrated with Sage 200, offering users a way of creating powerful and interactive reports.

 

GDPR Compliance

 

Customer data can be stored securely through Microsoft OneDrive, thanks to the Sage 200 Microsoft Office 365 integration. Old customer data in Sage 200 reports can be easily identified, removing the need to manually look back and delete. Sage 200 reports also feature the ability to quickly identify, update and delete data in accordance with GDPR policy.

 

CIS Reverse Charge

 

If you’re a construction company, you’ll be well aware of the changes in the way VAT is dealt with in the construction industry as of March 2021. The changes mean VAT registered contractors paying for construction services that fall within the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), pay VAT for those services directly to HMRC, rather than paying the contactor, subcontractor or supplier.

Sage 200 completely automates this process, massively reducing manual time spent on calculations. Being fully Making Tax Digital, you can also submit these payments electronically to HMRC.

Project Accounting (Sage 200 Professional Only)
