The partnership agreement will also see Eventura become the sponsors of the Nat Lofthouse East Stand at the University of Bolton Stadium until the end of the 2023/24 season.
Eventura – founded in Bolton by lifelong Wanderers’ fan Dr Chris Houghton in 2003 – are already valued long-standing box holders and commercial partners of Wanderers, with their brand name also displayed behind the home and away seating in the dug-outs.
The new arrangement will now see Eventura take on a major role in improving the IT and technology infrastructure – including increasing bandwidth and internet speeds – across the business of the football club and Whites Hotel in a long-term partnership.
Wanderers’ Chief Executive Officer, Neil Hart, said: “We are delighted to welcome Eventura as the club’s official technology partner and new sponsor of the Nat Lofthouse East Stand.”
“This will further strengthen our excellent relationship with Chris and Eventura and their expertise, and the work they will now undertake in a long-term project, will put the whole business on a better footing for the next 10 years.”
A brand leader in managed IT services and business systems, Eventura also has offices in Teesside, Milton Keynes and Malta after expanding from its Bolton roots.
Chief Executive Officer, Dr Houghton, said: “I’m really pleased to have cemented our long-term relationship with Wanderers, which goes back almost 20 years, and to become a major business partner and sponsor of the club.”
“As a Wanderers’ fan, I’m delighted that Eventura will be able to play a part in helping the club build on its current solid foundations and continue to move forward as a successful business on and off the pitch with the technology support and innovation we can provide.”
