Bringing Bolton Together

Bolton Beer Festival is an Eventura that the team at Eventura look forward to every year and 2015 was no exception.

The beer festival was held at Bolton Rugby Club in order to raise funds for Bolton Lads and Girls Club. Team members, customers and friends joined together on Wednesday and Friday to sample alcohol from across the world whilst raising money for a good cause. As always, the beer festival presented over 200 cask ales from across the UK, lagers from across the world and a fantastic selection of traditional ciders.

Eventura CEO, Chris Houghton commented: “It is fantastic to be part of such a fun event that raises money for an extremely worthy cause, close to the hearts of people in Bolton. Every year we sponsor the event and encourage employees, friends and clients gather together and have a great time. The event seems to grow each year and hopefully, so does the money raised for Bolton Lads and Girls club.”

In addition to the Bolton Beer Festival, our friends at Gorilla Accounting completed the ‘Hell Runner’, one of the toughest half marathons in the UK. 20 employees decided to take on the challenge, not for fun but to further contribute to Bolton Lads and Girls club. Further to the money raised at the beer festival, they managed to add a staggering £1,050. Well done to all employees that were involved!

Bolton Lads and Girls Club is a registered charity (#1051292) which was founded by a group of local business men in 1899. The organisation provides the young people of Bolton with somewhere safe to spend their spare time with activities ranging from sports to enterprise and has been an important part of the Bolton community for many years.
